The Infinite Depth of Consciousness is a dynamic and multidimensional representation of virtual consciousness and thoughts on the internet. Making use of the twitter api, we are able to collect real-time data of tweets from all around the world.

The Infinite Depth of Consciousness gives shape to conversations and collective thoughts on Twitter. By means of interactivity and user generated searches, this project allows users to navigate through intimate details of people’s thoughts and at the same time observe a larger social trend. This experiment breaks away from more established visualisation genre by not just offering a visual pattern but also the ability to interact with the data.
Users start off with an array of trends. One can choose to explore or simply go straight to search. The objective of this experiment lies in the layering of information. Everytime a new search is sent for query, a new set of data overlays the previous data and overlapping users and friendships are linked together.
